WEDNESDAY CLASSES

1. Any American or import 2wd car with a factory stock 4 cylinder & 6 cylinder engine, with a wheel base of 109 inches or less.
2. Side to side bars may be used behind the drivers seat and in place of dash.
3. All gas tanks must be removed. You may use a a plastic marine or metal tank, no more than 6 gallon max capacity. If using an alternative fuel, it is recommended that you wear a fire safety jacket ans gloves. FUEL TANKS MUST BE REMOVED
4. All glass, plastic trim and molding must be removed.
5. Windshield must be removed and half screened.
6. There must be a hole in the hood, minimum of 12” to 15”in diameter.
7. The drivers door must be white or orange with a white or orange number The number must be at least 18″ high on both doors and a 20” x 20” roof sign may be used. Passengers door must be different color than drivers door.
8. All tires must be DOT approved and may be any size ply rating. All wheel weights must be removed.
9. The doors can be welded, chained or banned. If welded you may use 3 x 3 x 3/16” thick plates. You are allowed a maximum of four plates in four different places, or the welds can be 4” maximum.
10. Batteries must be removed and located on the front passengers floor board and securely fastened and covered.
11. A 5 mile per hour speed limit is permitted, no ripping or tearing on fair grounds. Please, no pets in pit area or fair grounds.
12. Fan blades must be removed, you may use a plastic electric fan,.
13. Drivers door must be padded for drivers protection.
14. Only water allowed in radiator.
15. Make sure all equipment is left on at all times while on track. Including helmet, gloves seat belt and boots.
16. Hood and trunk must be open for inspection.
17. Absolutely no profanity anywhere on vehicle.
18. Any car that does not move or hit a live   2 minutes will be out.
19. Absolutely nobody riding in or on car at anytime.
20. Drivers must be 16 years of age. Anyone under 18 years of age must have a notarized release form. Nobody under the age of 12 is allowed in pit area at anytime during the derby. Anyone not following these rules will be asked to leave and refund will be given.

 

1. Any American or imported full size truck, 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive. No blazers. It must be 3/4 ton or less. No El-Caminos or rancheros allowed in event.
2. Front and rear bumpers can be a minimum height of 15” and a maximum of 24”. Measured from ground to the bottom of bumper. There can only be a difference of 3” between front and rear bumper in height.
3. Tail gates must be chained, welded or banded. All loose trash must be removed from truck including lights, chrome, headliner and all wheel weights.
4. No running boards, nef rails or push bars.
5. Beds must be fastened to to frame in 4 additional places either by chain or bolts. Also bed may be chained, bolted or welded to the cab in 4 additional places. Bolt size maximum of 1/2”, plate maximum of 4x4x1/4” steel. Chain size maximum 3/8”.
6. Gas tanks must be removed and located in the truck bed, no stock tanks.It must be centered in the front of the bed directly behind the cab. The tank must be secured with metal straps ,or chain. It must be covered with a metal cover. You may run alcohol.
7. The windshield area must be covered with a medium heavy duth wire mesh.
8. A side to side bar may be used in place of dash. Drivers door protection is highly recommended. It may be the regular door panel or you can use a foam piece to cover the inside of drivers door.
9. Batteries may be moved inside of cab and securely hastened to the floor and covered.
10. Every driver must wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, helmets, boots or fire safety coat.
11. Only water allowed in radiator. You may not use a metal fan blade, it must be plastic.
12. There must be a hole in the hood 12 to 15” in diameter above carburetor.
13. Any truck that does not move or hit another truck within 2 minutes is out.
14. Absolutely nobody riding in or on vehicles at anytime . NO PETS in pit area or on fair grounds.
15. No profanity on derby trucks.
16. Drivers must be 16 years old. Anyone under 18 must have a notarized release form signed. Nobody under age of 12 is allowed
in t area during derby. Anyone not following the rules will be asked to
leave and no refunds.

1.Any factory American or imported station wagon is allowed, any 6 or 8 cylinder car. Chrysler imperials may also run in this event as long as they are not full blown welded. No convertibles, 4 wheel drives, limos, hearse, ambulances or SUV’s will be permitted..
2. All chrome moldings, rear seats, sun visors, rear view mirror,carpet and must be removed from the interior. All airbags must be removed.
3. Inner driver door upholstery and padding is required. Drivers door protection is required.
4. Outside chrome, plastic trim including the grillheadlights, tail lights also factory nose pieces must be removed. Windshield must be removed and may be replaced with wire mesh. Full screen preferred but half screen in front of driver.
5. No bumper or frame mounted hitches are allowed.
6. Fan blades are not permitted, however a plastic fan may be used.
7. A working hydraulic brake system is mandatory.
8. Stock gas tanks must be  removed ann a maximum 6 gallon metal or approved plastic marine will be permitted. Fuel tank must   fastened in the area vacated by rear seat. They must be chained, bolted,or strapped   covered, with at least 8 holes in floor.
Drivers can use alternative types of fuel, alcohol or methanol based , must wear fire safety jacket and gloves.
9. Battery must be securely fastened to the front passengers floor. The battery must be in a secured metal frame or box and covered with a rubber mat. Must use metal straps or chain to secure battery, no wooden boxes.
10. All doors must be fastened shut by a solid steel band, chains or welded.Outside seams only plating may be 3x3x3/8”, no more than 6 spots. Chains or cables must be 1/4” minimum and a maximum 3/8”.
11. A minimum of modification or reinforcements are allowed to car body or frame. Protective reinforcement is allowed on drivers door only.
12. Hoods and trunk must be open for inspection.
13. Hoods and trunks must be secured after inspection. Minimum of 1/4 and a maximum of 3/8 chains on cables.
14. There must be a hole in the hood above the carburetor approximately 14 to 18” in diameter. You may have stacks coming out of hood.
15. Any engine or transmission may be used in any model.
16. All cooling systems must be original equipment or less and must be located under the hood, looped systems will be limited to the area vacated by the radiator. Only water allowed in cooling system, all anti-freeze must be flushed prior to arrival at track. Engine oil and transmission coolers are allowed, however theymust be secured in a box and use steel lines and high pressure fittings for all connections.
17. Bumpers must be in stock location, you may swap bumpers.
18. All wheel weights must be removed.
19. All cars must have 18” high numbers clearly painted on the roof and both doors. Only the drivers door must have orange or white number 18” high. No profanity on any cars.
20. All drivers are required to wear a DOT or SNELL approved safety helmet with eye protection. Full faced helmets are recommended. Safety belts are required and must br worn until heat is over. Factory stock shoulder straps are required. Driver must stay in their car with helmets and seat belts on until heat is completed. Any driver that gets out of their car while heat is still running will be disqualified. All drivers must wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves and boots. No shorts or short sleeve shirts.
21 Any car that does not move or hit a live car within 2 minutes will be out.
22.No team work or sandbagging will be permitted. You will be shut down and no questions asked. By officials.
23. Harassment of demo officials, demo staff or track crew will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave with no refund.
24. The only people allowed on track at any time will be the drivers, officials and towing personal. No smoking on track. No cell phones in cars.
25 A 5 mile per hour speed limit is required on the fair grounds. No ripping and tearing anywhere on the  grounds and pit area. NO PETS are allowed in pit area on fair grounds.
26. Drivers must be 16 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a signed notarized release form. Nobody under the ahe of 12 is allowed in pit area during derby. Anyone no following these rules will be asked to leave,no refunds. Pit fees must be paid by everyone.
27. No passengers riding in or on derby vehicle at any time.
28. All vehicles will be reinspected after the feature event. Without any explanation necessary
