Franklin County Fair Chili Cook Off

1. Participant must be a resident of Franklin County.
2. The participant must supply all equipment and food items that they require. Cannot use crock pot for cooking. Electricity will not be available.
3. Starting time for event is 1:00 p.m.
4. The participant must bring all raw ingredients (can be cut up) and equipment to the fair grounds on August 22, 2009. The participant must cook the chili at the Fair, resulting in at least 5 quarts available for tasting at 6:00 p.m.
5. People attending the Fair will be the judges, for a small fee. They will taste samples of the chili's between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and vote for the chili of their choice.
6. Enter on the General Entry Form.
7. Check with the Fair Office for Location of Event.
   
   Premiums: 1st Place - $100.00
   2nd Place - $50.00
   3rd Place - $35.00
   All other participants - $20.00
