SKID STEER OPERATORS RODEO
Tuesday, August 18 7:00 p.m. Arena

Youth (ages 14 to 18) Adult (19 and older)
"Demonstrate your skills of agility, accuracy and safety on 4 wheels."

Rules:
  1. Each operator must be able to show proof of age. (Picture ID card or drivers license accepted)
  2. Decisions of the rodeo judge is final.
  3. Machines have preset throttles and any tampering with this setting results in immediate expulsion from the rodeo.
  4. The operator must mount and dismount with the engine shut off.
  5. The operator must use two hands to steer.
  6. Timing of the event always begins with the timer's signal and ends when the machine is returned to its starting position, bucket on the ground.
  7. All drivers must have their seat belts fastened at all times.
  8. Each operator is allowed to move the machine forward and backward to become familiar with the controls prior to starting each event. NOTE: Distance not exceed 5 ft. in a straight line only. NO TURNS.
  9. Each event is run with the bucket of the machine off the ground by no more than 8 inches. NOTE: With the exception of the dumping events.
  10. Penalty points (10 seconds per incident) are assessed for knocking over or damaging the props.
  11. Maximum allotted time for any event is 5 minutes.
  12. Each operator must finish all of the events to qualify for an overall point standing in the rodeo.
  13. Original scoring of the rodeo: Accumulated times of all events with the lowest score placing first, etc.
  14. Any unsafe operation of the machine will result in disqualification for that event and the maximum allotted time (5 minutes) will be given as the score.
  15. Entry fee is $5.00 for each division.
